Transport entrepreneurs associated in different transport committees have halted their operation of vehicles across the country today (Friday).
The Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs Association (FNNTEA), the umbrella organization of different public transport entrepreneurs committees, halted the operation of vehicles with intent to press the government to bow down to their decade long monopoly as a syndicate of public transport.
With the halt of the public transport, normal life of the people in general across the country has been affected badly from the early morning on Friday.
