Kathmandu, Nepal, April 23, 2020: Two more new patients have tested positive for novel corona virus (COVID-19) on Thursday.
With the two new number of COIVD-19 patients, total number of COVID-19 infected persons have reached 47 in Nepal.
According to Dr Bikash Devkota, the spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) conducted at Teku based central lab has confirmed that two more persons have infected for COVID-19.
Though he did not elaborate details about the infected persons, it is said, however, that one 14 year boy was found in Janakpur while another adult in Udayapur. So far, 7 patients have returned home after recovery from the deadly virus.
