Kathmandu, Nepal, January 11, 2022: CPN-UML's Leela Giri has staked claim to the post of chief minister of Lumbini Province.
He has submitted the signatures 55 members out of total 87 members of the provincial assembly on Wednesday.
CPN UML’s 29, Maoist Center’s 10, four each of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Nagarik Unmukti Party, three each of Janta Samajwadi Party (JSP) and Janamat Party and 2 independent members have supported Giri.
