Kathmandu, Nepal: The United States (US) has initiated process to gift four M28 Skytruck aircraft to the Nepal Army (NA) in order to strengthen the army’s humanitarian rescues and ferry services.
Nepal Army has also confirmed that the US Department of Defense is going to gift two M28 Skytruck aircraft within this year and reaming two latter.
At present, the Nepal Army had only one M28 Sskytruck aircraft.
The US is going to gift the aircrafts under the provision of military financing to Nepal. It is believed that to be gifted two aircrafts are extremely suitable in Nepal’s rugged terrains.
