Kathmandu, Nepal, February 18, 2020: Nepali Congress (NC) Vice-President Bimalendra Nidhi has said that his party has no mood to topple the incumbent Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chair KP Sharma Oli led government. 

Speaking in a news conference organized by the Press Union, Chitwan, on Monday, Nepali Congress Vice-President Nidhi, who is former Deputy Prime Minister (DPM said that the issue of government change is the internal issue of the ruling party. 

The Nepali Congress is not in a mood to topple the government, Nidhi said.  As Nepali Congress is mandated as opposition party, we will play the role as a responsible opposition party, he said.

However, he blamed that the government has failed to live up to the people's expectations in the past two years since it came to power. 

The government has failed in different front including the price hike, to maintain peace and forward development activities, he said. 

In a different note, he also said that the party's 14th general convention would be held as per the schedule time.
