Kathmandu, Nepal: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Nepal once again in coming November. It is said that Indian Prime Minister Modi is arriving in Nepal for a two day visit at the last week of November. However, exact date purpose of the visit is not made public yet.
His purposed visit to Nepal is taken importantly in the political as well as diplomatic level as it will be the fifth visit to Nepal after he came to power in 2014.
Nepalese authorities including the high ranking officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) are clueless about the purpose of the visit of the Indian Prime Minister Modi.
Indian PM Modi had visited Nepal in August 2018 during the summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).
It is said that India Prime Minister Modi would visit some religious places like Janakpur, Muktinath and Lumbini as his desire to visit these religious places during his previous visits to Nepal was not materialized.
The purposed visit of Indian Prime Minister would be termed either goodwill visit or religious one, the hidden interest would have holding discussion with the high ranking Nepalese officials, a diplomat said.
Sources said preparations are also being made to inaugurate Jayanagar-Janakpur-Kurtha rail during his upcoming visit. The defunct railroad is being brought to operation with Indian assistance.
