Guwahati, July 4 : The wild elephant menace continues in central Assam’s Nagaon district as a wild elephant on Wednesday morning terrorized on National Highway 36.
The wild elephant had terrorized on National Highway 36 at Kathiatoli Rengbeng area in the central Assam district.
The elephant came from nearby forest area under Kathiatoli forest range office and crossing the National Highway.
The people come out to the National Highway and tried to run the elephant.
Later forest guards had managed to run the elephant from the National Highway to forest area.
It is to be mentioned that, at least four people trampled to death by wild elephants at Kathiatoli area in this year so far.
