Kathmandu, Nepal: The woman, who had sliced off the penis of her own husband, has been arrested by the Nepal police on Thursday.
According to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha, the arrested woman is identified as Santamaya Tamang, 26, of Salambutar in Shakharapur Municipality-20.
It is said that she had sliced the penis of her husband Kanchhamaya Tamang with a sharp sickle on Monday alleging him of keeping extramarital affairs with a neighboring woman.
Seriously wounded Kanchhamaya has now been receiving treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH).
