Kathmandu, Nepal, August 14, 2020:  coronavirus (COVID-19) infection cases seem to have spread in Kathmandu valley, the capital city of Nepal.  

As 119 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Kathmandu valley in the past 24 hours on Friday, it is feared that the deadly global pandemic would have spread in the community level. 

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, among the newly identified 119 cases in Kathmandu valley, 83 were from Kathmandu, 30 from Lalitpur while six from Bhaktapur.

With the today’s additions, coronavirus infection case count in Kathmandu stands at 1,236.
