Kathmandu, Nepal, July 21, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus (COVID-19) positive cases tally reached to 17,994 after 150 new cases including nine in Kathmandu valley identified in the past 24 hours. 

According to Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), real time PCR tests of 3,963 samples identified 150 new positive cases on Tuesday. 

Likewise, 609 patients infected earlier with the virus have been discharged after recovery in the last 24 hours. With the new recovery cases, total number of recovery tally reached to 12,477. 

Likewise, spokesperson Gautam also stated that only 5,477 active cases have remained in the country.
