Kathmandu, Nepal, Aug 9, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus infection tally has reached to 22,972 after 380 new cases recorded including 92 in Kathmandu valley in the past 24 hours.
According to Dr. Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 380 new cases identified while conducting of 8,515 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests in the past 24 hours across the nation.
In the past 24 hours, only 40 patients infected earlier with the virus have returned to their home after recovery. So far 16,353 patients have recovered from the global pandemic of coronavirus.
Likewise, death toll due to the infection of virus has reached to 75 in Nepal after two deaths related to the virus reported on Sunday.
