Dhanusha, Nepal: At least six persons killed and five others sustained injured seriously when a passenger jeep met with an accident along the East-West Highway in Ganeshman Charnath Municipality-8 of Dhanusha district at wee hours on Saturday.
According to the Police at Dhanusha, the ill-fated Tata Sumo jeep with registration number Ba 9 Cha 3314, which was heading to Jhapa from Kathmandu, plunged into a nearby pond in at around 2:30 am on Fridaty.
The Deceased have been identified as Pranita Rai of Miklajung Rural Municiaplity-4 in Panchthar, Gyan Bahadur Chauhan, 27 of Nirmalidanda, Khotang; Sharada Regmi Dahal, 35 of BiratnagarMetropolitancity-4, Prahlad Neupane 33 of Morang, Khem Kumar Rana Magar of Letang Municipality-8 and Naya Raj Jibi 29 of Dharmadevi -9 in Sankhuwasabha district.
