Chitwan, Nepal: It is suspected that at least six persons would have killed in the landslide occurred at Kalikhola of the Narayangadh-Muglin road section at wee hours on Friday.
Among the four police personnel buried with their van, tow bodies have been recovered till now, police involved in the rescue operation has said. The deceased have been identified as ASI Nischal Tamang and policeman Deepak Kumar Maskey.
As the rescue operation is going on, it is expected that more bodies will be recovered after clearing the landslide. The landslide had buried tow vehicles- one van and a truck. Four police personnel were traveling in the van.
Though, exact number of passengers and other staff is not conformed yet in the buried truck, it is suspected that at least two persons- one driver and another assistant of the truck would have traveled in the truck.
