Kathmandu, Nepal, March 10, 2020: Bara district in charge of outlawed Netra Bikram Chand aka Biplav-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has been arrested by police on the charge of extorting money and terrorizing the people. 
 
The Area Police Office, Simara, made public Indra Bahadur Pariyar, a resident of Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City-16, Makwanpur district, amid a press meet on Monday. According to the police, Pariyar was arrested from Jitpur market in Bara while he was involved in the extorting of money.
 
Arrested Pariyar has also charged of setting fire to Ncell’s telecommunications towers at Jitpur Simara Sub Metropolitan-11 and Piluwa of the district. We have arrested Pariyar after our investigation found that he was involved in several criminal activities, Area Police Office in charge, DSP Govinda Puri, said.
 
During the press meet, the police also informed that they confiscated six smart phones and documents of the outfit including a motorcycle with a registration number Ba 27 Pa 1991 that Pariyar was using.
