Kathmandu, Nepal, May 6, 2021: Coonavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 368,580 after 9,070 cases reported in the past 24 hours. This is the single day record high in terms of coronavirus infections.
Of the newly infected cases, Kathmandu valley alone records 3972 new infection cases. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3163 cases were reported in Kathmandu, 567 in Lalitpur and 242 in Bhaktapur district.
Likewise, death toll due to the infection of cronavirus has advanced to 3529 after 54 new death related to the virus reported in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 2707 people have discharged in the past 24 hours after they get recovery from the infection of coronavirus. With the addition, recovery tally of the country has advanced to 292,490, which is equal to 79.4 percent.
