Kathmandu, Nepal: Relieved Chief Justice Gopal Prasad Parajuli has submitted his resignation formally stepping down from his post on Thursday to the president Bidya Devi Bhandari.
Chief justice Parajuli was relieved of his duties by Judicial Council’s decision on Wednesday.
The decision of the judicial council was dragged into controversies for the decision to relieve Chief Justice from the post.
