Kathmandu, Nepal: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested Director General (DG) of Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) Bishworaj Pandey on Wednesday.
According to the CIAA DG Pandey was arrested from Kathmandu on the charge of receiving money from manpower companies.
It is said that DG Pandey was arrested on the basis of the statement given by officials Tripti Ballav Paudel and non-gazette officer Khadka KC who were already arrested while receiving bribe money.
A team of police mobilized from the CIAA had arrested the DoFE officials from a restaurant named Indreni Foodland at New Baneshwor of Kathmandu on Tuesday with Rs one million.
