Kathmandu, Nepal, August 21, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus related death has reached to 137 after 11 deaths reported across the country in the past 24 hours. This is the single day spike of coronavirus death in Nepal.  

Dr. Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), said during a regular press briefing on Friday that among the deceased eight were males while a woman. 

According to him, nine deaths have been reported from different districts namely, Morang, Bara, Parsa, Saptari, Sarlahi, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Makwanpur, Dolakha Chitwan and Pyuthan districts.
