Kathmandu, Nepal, August 21, 2021: Nepal records 1,424 new cases of coronavirus infections from across the country in the past 24 hours on Saturday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 7445,731.

Meanwhile, 2,382 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally of the country has advanced to 695,925.
 
Likewise, 30 more fatalities related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death toll has advanced to 10,485.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 13,075 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 7,703 were PCR tests while 5,372 were antigen tests.
