Kathmandu, Nepal, June 24, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus positive cases have jumped to 10,728 after 629 new cases identified in past 24 hours on Wednesday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) of the newly identified cases, 519 are males while 110 are females.
According to the spokesperson for the ministry, Dr Jageshwor Gautam, total of 6,828 PCR tests were conducted at 22 different labs across the country in the last 24 hours.
Likewise, he also informed that 114 patients- 106 males and eight females- infected with the virus were discharged in the last 24 hours. As of Wednesday, 2338 patients have returned home after recovery.
