Kathmandu, Nepal, June 22, 2020: The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 535 new cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours on Monday.  With the new cases, Nepal's Covid-19 tally has reached to 9561.

According to Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, of the newly identified cases, 461 are males while 74 are females. 

Among 90730 persons, who are currently staying at quarantine facilities in the country, 6198 persons are underwent PCR tests and 5929 persons tested for coronavirus through the RDT method across the country. COVID-19 has spread 76 districts out of 77.

Likewise, as of Monday, 2,142 persons infected earlier with the COVID-19 have returned home after recovery. 370 patients have returned home in the last 24 hours, Gautam said during the press briefing.
