Kathmandu, Nepal, June 8, 2020: Total number of coronavirus (COVID-19) positive cases has jumped to 3,762 with the newly reported 314 additional cases on Monday.
According to Jageshwor Gautam, the newly appointed spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, among the newly diagnosed cases, 294 are males while 20 are females.
In total, number of male infected cases with the virus has reached to 3,506 while number of female infected with the virus has reached to 256.
Likewise, COVID-19 has spread to 71 districts out of 77 districts in Nepal.
Meanwhile, 21 people including female have been discharged following recovery. Total number of recovery cases stand at 488.
Similarly, number of death toll due to the COVID-19 has reached to 14 after one person succumb to death due to the virus on Monday.
