Kailali, Nepal: Kailali District Court has sentenced Lawmaker Resham Chaudhary among other eleven others with life imprisonment on Wednesday.
A single bench of justice Prashuram Bhattrai of the Court made the verdict on the charge of masterminding the Tikapur massacre in August 2015. In the massacre seven police personnel including SSP and a toddler were killed.
Chaudhary is a elected member of the federal parliament from the Rastriya Janata Party.
