Kathmandu, Nepal, June 16, 2021: floods and landslide followed by the torrential rainfall since past three days has created havoc across the country, particularly in the Sidhupalchowk district.
It has been reported that as many seven persons have died in the floods and landslide in Sidhupalchowk district alone.
Most of the settlements at Helambu rural municipality and Melamchi municipality of the district have badly affected from the floods.
It is believed that dozen people would have gone missing in the landslide and floods. Security agencies are mobilized to rescue the affected people and to search the missing persons.
