Kathmandu, Nepal, March 8, 2022: Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka is leaving for Turkey today at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu. He is leaving for Turkey leading a three-member delegation to take part in this year’s Antalya diplomacy forum (ADF) meeting on Tuesday.  

The meeting scheduled to be held from March 11 to 13 will bring foreign leaders from many countries including South Asia to discuss existing regional and international issues and their solutions. It is said that a cross-section of policymakers, experts, diplomats including the foreign ministers from about 50 countries will take part in the meeting. 

Foreign minister Khadka is scheduled to share panels with participating Foreign Ministers in two separate sessions entitled ‘Democratic Governance and Security’ and ‘Asia Anew: For a Sustained Regional Growth’.

Foreign Minister Khadka is taking part at the event at the time when Nepal and Turkey are marking 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between two countries. It is believed that the visit would contribute to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries.
