Kathmandu, Nepal, November 15, 2021: At least four persons died while 14 others sustained injuries when a passenger Jeep met with a fetal accident at Okhaldhunga district on Monday.
The ill-fated jeep with registration number Province no. 3 01022 Cha 9694, which was en route to Champadevi Kakani Temple ferrying pilgrims, met with the accident after it crashed off the road at Sikari Danda, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-9 of the district on Monday morning. The Jeep had fallen about 600 meters down the road.
The deceased have been identified as Mithumaya Magar, 35 of Siddhicharan Municipality-10, Tulsa Magar, 17 and Khagedra Magar of Siddhicharan Municipality-10. Another deceased is yet to be identified, police have said. The injured passengers have been receiving treatment in different hospitals including in Kathmandu. Some seriously injured passengers were airlifted to Kathmandu.
