Kathmandu, Nepal, November 30, 2021: At least four people killed and four others injured when a passenger jeep met with an accident in Myagdi on Monday.
According to the reports, the ill-fated jeep with registration number Ga 1 Ja 7251 that was heading to Raghuganga Rural Municipality-1 from the district headquarters Beni met with an accident after it plunged off the road on Monday evening. However, the reason behind the accident is yet to ascertained.
The deceased have been identified as elected representative Gaumaya BK, Khimu Pun, Khimananda Sharma and jeep driver Dut Bahadur Thapa. It is said that Gaumaya is an elected ward member of Raghuganga village municipality-1.
In the accident, Bhim Fagami, Bal Bahadur BK, Manoj Pun and Gyan Bahadur Sherpunja were injured. The injured passengers were rushed to Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara for treatment.
