Kathmandu, Nepal, July 15, 2021: The government has on Thursday recommended to President Bidya Devi Bhandari to call a new session of parliament on July 18.
A cabinet meeting held earlier today decided to summon summon both the session of the Federal Parliament- House of Representative (HoR) and the National Assembly on coming Sunday, July 18, 2021.
The government has made the decision to summon the house session in line of the Supreme Court verdict.
While passing the verdict to reinstate the dissolved parliament, the Supreme Court had on last Monday ordered to summon the House session within a week.
