Kathmandu, Nepal: with the aim to include the agitating Madhes based parties in the government, the Nepali Congress and CPN Maoist Center coalition government is going to indorse the agreement signed with them through the cabinet decision on Friday.
According to a reliable source close to the office of the Prime Minister and council of the ministers, a Cabinet meeting is going to be held to provide martyr status to those killed during the Madhes Movement, compensation to the families of the victims and treatment to the injured.
A meeting held on Friday morning between the leaders from the Nepali Congress, CPN Maoist Center and the Madhes based parties have made the decision in line with the three point agreement signed earlier during the Prime Ministerial elections.
With the endorsement of the agreement, the way would be paved to include the Madhes based parties in the government. However, participation of the Madhes based parties in the government is not specified in the meeting on Friday.
