Kathmandu, Nepal: Krishna Janmastami, the day considered as the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, is being celebrated by the Hindus throughout the world including in Nepal today. 
 
Tens of thousands devotees have thronged at Krishna temples since early morning to offer the fruits, sweets, and clothes to the lord Krishna. 
 
Devotees used to observe the special day with fasting and sing devotional songs dedicated to Krishna until midnight.
 
Special arrangements have been made in various Kriskna temples including the Krishna temple located at Patan Durbar Suare, Hare Krishna Dham in Budhanilkantha and other many parts of the country.
