Kathmandu, Nepal, January 27, 2022: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has formed a committee to probe the issues raised by late Prem Prasad Acharya of Ilam district, who self-immolated in Kathmandu.
A six-member committee has been formed under the leadership of joint-secretary Narayan Prasad Risal on Thursday entrusting with the responsibility of probing all concerns raised by late Acharya in the social networking site
According to the MoHP, the committee includes under-secretaries from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Superintendent of Nepal Police and Assistant Investigation Director of National Investigation Department,
Acharya had posted on social media before self-immolating in front of the Parliamentary building at New Baneshowr, Kathmandu on Tuesday. He had died while receiving treatment on Wednesday morning.
