Kathmandu, Nepal, June 13, 2022: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s upcoming visit to the United States of America (USA) has been demanded to make clear. Prime Minister Deuba has scheduled to visit USA on coming July.
A meeting of the International Relations Committee under the House of Representatives held at Singha Durbar on Monday decided to invite the Prime Minister Deuba, who also looks after the Defense Ministry portfolio, and Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka to make clear about the Prime Minister Deuba’s scheduled visit to USA.
‘Both the Prime Minister and foreign Affair Minister are invited in the meeting to make clear about the visit,’ committee chairperson Pavitra Niraula Kharel said. According to her, both the Prime Minister and Foreign Affair Minister has to make clear the parliamentarians about the issue and agendas of the meeting.
Meanwhile, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has also demanded that Prime Minister Deuba should inform parliament and the general public about his scheduled visit to the USA.
Speaking at the parliament meeting on Monday, Chairman Nepal said ‘PM Deuba should respond to the queries raised by parliament regarding his visit to the US.’
CPN-UML lawmaker Dr Bhim Rawal also demanded to clarify Prime Minister Deuba’s upcoming visit to USA. Speaking at a parliament meeting on Monday Rawal also casted suspicion over the Prime Minister Deuba’s scheduled visit to USA.
