Kathmandu, Nepal, June 4, 2022: The newly arrived Ambassador of India to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, pays a courtesy call to the Minister for Home Affairs, Bal Krishna Khand at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singha Durbar, on Monday. 

During the meeting, the duo discussed on ranges of issues related to the bilateral relationship between two neighboring countries. This is the first formal meeting held between the newly appointed Indian ambassador to Nepal and Home Minister Khad.   

During the meeting Home Minister Khand urged him to facilitate the supply of chemical fertilizers in line with the agreement reached between the governments of the two countries. Though Government 2 Government (G2G) agreement was already signed between the two countries, no chemical fertilizers are delivered yet India as per the line and spirit of the agreement.   

Responding to the Home Minster Khad’s concern, the Indian ambassador vowed to take initiatives to facilitate the supply of chemical fertilizers as per the agreement reached between the two countries.
