Kathmandu, Nepal: The Judicial Council (JC) has recommended two senior-most justices to the Constitutional Council (CC) for appointment as the Chief Justice (CJ) of the Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday.
The JC has recommended senior-most justices duo Deepak Raj Joshee and Cholendra Sumsher Rana for the appointment as the CJ.
Though Joshee was already recommended to the post of CJ by the JC, and his name was also endorsed from the CC, the Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee had not endorsed his name alleging him of incompetent in the post.
