Kathmandu, Nepal, May 31, 2022: The first meeting of the newly-elected executives of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has made several decisions including the decision to run garbage management and physical infrastructure ambulances.

The meeting made the decision endorsing the proposal made by the newly elected Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balendra Shah. Mayor Shah had tabled six different proposals for endorsement in the meeting.   

The first Executive Meeting was held rightly after the elected representatives including Mayor Shah and Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol, took oath of office and secrecy amid a function on Monday.

Mayor Shah had proposed so with the aim to manage the garbage and fill the potholes of thee roads and drainage leakage and damage as soon as possible.  

It is said that two physical infrastructure ambulances would be managed in the first phase and a call center will be set up to address the problems of the metropolis residents.

The board meeting was broadcast live as per the first decision of Mayor Shah.
