Kathmandu, Nepal, April 6, 2021: responding to the spreading threat of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection cases across the country, the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has on Friday propose the government to impose a restriction on gatherings of over 25 people.

With the decision, the MoHP has proposed to close down the schools, colleges, entertainment businesses and among others.
 
Likewise, the MoHP has also urged people to follow all necessary health protocols to control the spreading treat of coronavirus.

Nepal has on Friday reported 288 new cases of COVID-19 infection from across the country on Friday. 

With the addition, the nationwide infection tally of the deadly decease has advanced to 279,388.

Of the total newly reported cases on Monday, 117 cases were reported in Kathmandu district alone leaving a clear indicating that the Kathmandu would become a hob of coronavirus infection in days to come.

Following the footsteps of Kathmandu district, Kaski district alone reported 33 new infection cases to become second while Rupandehi reported 16 new cases on Friday.
