Kathmandu, Nepal: The government has appointed Pushpa Kandel as the Vice-Chairman of National Planning Commission (NPC).
A cabinet meeting held at the official residence of the Prime Minister in Baluwatar on Tuesday also appointed Krishna Prasad Oli, Usha Jha, Dil Bahadur Gurung, Sushil Bhatta, Min Bahadur Shahi and Ram Kumar Phuyal as members of the NPC.
With the decision of the Nepal government, the NPC has got a new shape with new office bearers. The NPC had remained vacant after formation of the new government as all the office bearers had resigned following the formation of the new government.
