Kathmandu, Nepal, April 6, 2020: The ongoing nationwide lockdown has been extended until midnight April 15. A cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to this effect. 
 
Government has imposed nationwide lockdown with the aim to prevent the spread of novel corona virus (COVID-19). 
 
The government had enforced the week-long lockdown on March 24 while extended at again for a week on March 29 after VOVID-19 positive cases increased in the country.
