Kathmandu, Nepal, September 26, 2021: The Nepal Bar Association (NBA), which has been protesting against Chief Justice Cholendra Samsher Rana demanding resignation since a month, has urged the government to take initiative to resolve the problems seen in the judiciary.
Handing over a memorandum to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Friday, the NBA, the umbrella organization of the Nepalese lawyers, urged the government to this effect.
The NBA office bearers including its chairman Chandeshwor Shrestha reached at Baluwatar, the official resident of Prime Minister Deuba, to handover the memorandum.
Receiving the memorandum, Prime Minister Deuba stated that the government wants to see to have solved the problems from the judiciary itself.
Since the problem is prolonged, I will hold the discussion with the ruling allies to find the possible ways out of solving the outstanding problems seen in the judiciary, Prime Minister Deuba said.
