Kathmandu, Nepal, September 26, 2022: Common candidate of the ruling allies Arjun Narsingh KC, who is also a prominent leader of the Nepali Congress (NC) has won the election as the member of the House of Representatives from the Nuwakot electoral constituency-2.
KC elected securing 28,107 votes against 16,477 by Rastriya Swatantra Party’s Suman Bikram Pandey. Third position was secured by the CPN-UML’s candidate Narayan Prasad Khatiwada with 15,561 votes. In the earlier elections, he was defeated by Khatiwada.
