Pokhara, Nepal, December 1, 2019: Candidate of the ruling head Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bidya Bhattarai, who is also the widow of late tourism minister Ravindra Bhattrai, has won the by-elections from Kaski constituency-2 on Sunday.
She has secured 24,394 votes while nearest contender Khem Raj Poudel, candidate from the main opposition Nepali Congress, secured 15,991 votes. Likewise, Socialist Party's Dharma Raj Gurung secured 1,922 votes, Rastriya Prajatantra Party's Rom Bhandari acquired 1,153 votes, Sajha Party's Rajani KC 991.
