Kathmandu, Nepal, Dec 14, 2019: Executive Chairman of the ruling head Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has admitted that the government has failed to live-up the expectations of the people.
Presenting an 11-page-long political report during the Standing Committee meeting that began at the party headquarters in Dhumbarahi from Sunday, Dahal also blamed the government for done very little in controlling the corruption in the country.
The government has failed even to publicize its good works, Dahal said. Dahal’s blame to the government for failing to live-up the people’s expectation is taken importantly as he has officially admitted about the failure of the incumbent government by mentioning in the political document of the party.
However he admired the function of the party claiming that the remaining task of the party unification has been done despite several challenges.
It is said that Dahal had prepared the report in consultation with another chairperson Oli. However, Oli remained absent in the meeting citing health condition.
