Kathmandu, Nepal, May 28, 2021: Coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 549,111 after 6,855 fresh cases recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours on Friday.
Likewise, nationwide death tally due to the infection of coronavirus has advanced to 7,047 after 96 fresh fatalities reported in the past 24 hours.
Similarly, 9,841 people, who had earlier contracted with the coroanvirus, have been discharged after having recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 428,670.
Nationwide infection tally has been gradually declaiming in recent days, thanks to the strict restriction on movement of people.
The government has been imposing restrictions in almost all the parts of the country with the aim to contain the spreading threat of coronavirus.
