Kathmandu, Nepal, October 11, 2020: Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally of the country has reached to 246,694 after 1,044 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.  

Among the newly infected cases, 411 are females while 633 are males. Kathmandu valley alone witnessed 541 new cases in the past 24 hours. 

Likewise, 1,271 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 232,872.

Death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has advanced to 1,674 after 11 more fatalities related to the virus reported in the past 24 hours. 

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 1,044 new cases were confirmed while conducting 7,414 PCR tests in the last 24 hours. So far, 1,820,618 PCR tests have been carried out in Nepal till date.
