Kathmandu, Nepal, December 13, 2020: Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally of the country has advanced to 248,423 after 830 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
Of the total newly infected cases, 330 are females while 500 are males. According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 348 cases were surfaced in Kathmandu Valley alone.
Likewise, 1,500 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 235,731.
Similarly, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has advanced to 1,698 after nine more fatalities related to the virus recorded in the past 24 hours.
There are currently 10,994 active cases across the country. Of them only 516 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities.
