Kathmandu, Nepal, December 29, 2030: Coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 259,548 after 708 new cases reported in the past 24 hours.
Of the total newly infected cases, 270 are females while 438 are males. According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), of the total newly recorded infection cases, 398 were surfaced in Kathmandu Valley alone.
Likewise, 731 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 251,312.
Similarly, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has advanced to 1840 after eight more fatalities related to the virus recorded in the past 24 hours.
There are currently 6,396 active cases across the country. Of them, only 365 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across the country.
