Kathmandu, Nepal, June 23, 2021: Coronavirus infection tally of Nepal has reached to 627,854 after 1,511 new cases recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours on Wednesday.
Likewise, 3,558 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition recovery tally of the country has advanced to 568,440.
Meanwhile, 81 more coronavirus related fatalities recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours on Wednesday. With the addition, fatalities toll of the country due to the infection of coronavirus has advanced to 8,894.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 12,414 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 7,461 were PCR tests while 4,953 were antigen tests, the MoHP has stated.
There are currently 50,520 active cases of coronavirus across the country. Of them, only 425 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
