Kathmandu, Nepal, August 26, 2021: Nepal records 2052 new cases of coronavirus infection from across the country in the past 24 hours on Thursday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 754915.
Meanwhile, 26 more mortality related to the coronavirus infection have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, mortality tally has advanced to 10638.
Similarly, 1929 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, recovery tally of the country has advanced to 705893.
There are currently 38384 active cases of coronavirus infections across the country. Of the total infection cases, 366 infected people have been staying in quarantine facilities.
