Kathmandu, Nepal, November 18, 2021:  Nepal recorded 272 new coronavirus infections cases from across the country in the past 24 hours on Thursday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 818,307.

Meanwhile, 260 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 799,176.

Likewise, six more deaths related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide deaths tally related to the coronavirus infections have surged to 11,489. 
 
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 11,151 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 7,863 were PCR tests while 3,288 were antigen tests. 

So far, total of 4,538,549 PCR tests have been carried out till date since the coronavirus detected in the country, the MoFA has stated.

There are currently 7,642 active cases across the country. Of the total active cases, 98 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
