Kathmandu, Nepal, December 13, 2021: Nepal records 313 new cases of coronavirus infections cases from across the country in the past 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 824,535.
Meanwhile, 376 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 807,154.
Likewise, three more deaths related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide mortality tally has advanced to 11,557.
There are currently 5,824 active cases of coronavirus in the country. Of them only 97 individuals are staying in quarantine facilities.
The Ministry of health and Population (MoHP) has stated that a total of 13,236 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 10,416 were PCR tests while 2,820 were antigen tests.
According to the MoHP, a total of 4,725,194 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, a total of 20,759,054 people have received coronavirus vaccine across the country. Of the total vaccinated people, 11,457,035 people have received the first dose while 9,302,019 individuals have been fully vaccinated, the MoHP ha stated.
